· Thirteen Senses return with their third studio album. Four years
after what they themselves describe as a difficult second
album, Thirteen Senses are about to release a new album,
recorded, produced and mixed in their own London studio via
their own B-Sirius label.
· ‘Crystal Sounds’ is an expanded and remixed version of the
tracks the band placed on their website earlier in the year,
adding unheard tracks ‘Send Myself To Sleep’, ‘Concept’ and ‘In
The Crowding’.
· Thirteen Senses are a band with an incredibly loyal fanbase.
Witness the 25,000 streams the new album attracted via the
band’s website earlier in the year and the sold out show in
London previewing this new album just for their fans.
Additionally, Thirteen Senses are known to many who would
not immediately class themselves as fans. With their music
having graced the likes of ‘ER’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘Bones’ and
‘The 4400’ amongst others, their ability to write honest,
emotional songs in widescreen has made them a particular
favourite of UK and US music supervisors and presented them
to a massive audience across the globe.
· One listen to ‘Crystal Sounds’ makes clear what their previous
records only glimpsed. Always good with a melody and unafraid
of being seen as ‘mainstream’ the new Thirteen Senses sound
is more expansive, more muscular and more experimental. The
lack of pressure to release also allowed the band reflective time
to revisit the tracks and construct an album that flows, from the
more accessible likes of ‘Crystal Sounds’ and ‘Home’ at its
opening, to the march towards the epic gradients of ‘I Saw
Stars Disappear’.
