Ok, we've got an LP re-press of Can's three Peel Session appearances dating from '73-'75. Originally released by Strange Fruit back in 1995, for some odd reason it they've taken it upon themselves to change the sleeve art for this repress? Why they'd do such a thing is a fucking mystery but there you go, best not give these things to much thought. Thankfully the recording itself has come away intact and is as good as you'd expect and there's six tracks spread over four sides of wax so you get a fair amount of Can minutes for your money. Can thrive on spontaneous composition so a live recording of the group is always going to be an exciting proposition. You should all know what to expect; excitable and experimental rock compositions played in the wild style! The lads are on fine form as they race through versions of 'Up The Bakerloo Line With Anne', 'Return To BB City', 'Tape Kebab' and 'Geheim (Half Past One)'. Gotta admit I prefer the lads in instrumental mode but Damo kicks in with some nice contributions so I should show a little love. Won't bother banging on about it as this has been released before but I will say, as with the majority of Can's output, this one is worth owning.
Up The Bakerloo Line With Anne 18:48
Return To BB City 8:26
Tape Kebab 8:58
Tony Wanna Go 14:31
Geheim (Half Past One) 6:42
Mighty Girl 8:41
