Ahhhh now this is pretty lush sounding and the work of Berlin-based ambient/drone duo formed by Michelle & René (who also records as Pillowdiver for Under The Spire and 12k). The main sound source is guitar which then is treated with effects pedals. Together they create some fine moods, at their most dense reminiscent of William Basinski. The audio is really suited to the cassette format which adds an extra layer of warmth and a real earthy feel. Four tracks in all sounding excellent... If you enjoyed Pillowdiver's 'Tony on A Bike' CD then check this tape out.
Two People In A Room is a Berlin-based ambient/drone duo formed by Michelle & René (also Pillowdiver, 12k) in September 2009.
"Wrapped In Plastic" is their first release on their own "a crash at every speed" label.
The C40 tape has four songs that zoom in on happy accidents using delays, distortion and reverb. The main sound source used by Michelle and René is guitar.
The sounds are layered, stretched and textured through use of effects pedals and signal processing.
A CD album will come out early 2011 on Home Normal.
