Some supremely melancholy and lonely vibes coming from these saddened tones. Two long tracks of lush drifting, enveloping sounds from Greg Taw who on part one creates with guitar, organ and field recordings. On the second part Greg adds some vocals which add to the very personal nature of the recordings. He is joined by chums playing organ and additional vocals. A tear jerker which has somewhat of a shoegaze feel to it. Nicely done with mastering by Taylor Deupree
The Ghost Of 29 Megacycles returns with 'The Hummingbird Dream', a delicate two song cycle born from sleepless nights, morning silence and sadness. Lush in tone and beautiful in it's loneliness, these pieces (featuring contributions by Jane Harris and Erasers) have been documented in glorious warmth by good friends Crispin Wellington and Matt Rosner while carefully mastered by Taylor Deupree.
This release is packaged in a full colour cardboard gatefold jacket.
