The Gaslight Anthem - Tumbling Dice

Tumbling Dice by The Gaslight Anthem

2...according to our on Thu 25 Nov, 2010.

Not to be confused with Gaslamp Killer, the Low Anthem or Bob Seger, this is a 7" by the troublesome, tattoed foursome beloved of Springsteen etc. The A side is a gurgling, garbled take on the Stones 'Tumbling Dice' with no-one adding the high harmony which upset Business Lady so much I had to add it myself. The B side is called 'She Loves You' which isn't The Beatles song of the same name instead, its a gritty blue collar singalong ballad. A kind of Miller Lite Mellencamp.

· Released to coincide with America’s Record Store
Day-related Black Friday event, this beautiful
limited edition release comes in beautiful coloured
vinyl (750 copies for the UK) and is released to
support independent retail, exclusively available to
independent stores. This release will not be
available digitally.

· The release also follows the band’s phenomenal
appearance on ‘Later... With Jools Holland’ and
their largest ever UK date at the Hammersmith
Apollo.

· The A Side is a phenomenal cover version of the
Rolling Stones’ ‘Exile On Main Street’ classic. The B
Side ‘She Loves You’ is available here for the first
time physically.
