Imp - Just Destroyer

Just Destroyer by Imp

imp represent an accelerated evolutionary microcosm, constantly changing to the environment around them, maybe because everyone else is better, maybe they're not changing at all, who knows.

Based in Wakefield but born further West, influences are drawn from places much further afield in most cases. Dinosaur Jr, Pixies (the usual suspects) Ratatat, Envelopes, Times New Viking, Woods, M83, and many many more.

Following on from 2009's split EP with Jeremiah, imp release their debut EP 'Just Destoyer'. Recorded by Rob Slater at Irene Cottage Studios, the EP encapsulates the sound of the bands current live set which has been won admiration around the West Yorkshire region.

'An unusual combination of Americana and West Yorkshire that, even though it really shouldn't, somehow works' Vibrations Magazine

'The perfect indie-pop band' Rhubarb Bomb
