Kim - Selected Jerks 2001-2009

Selected Jerks 2001-2009 by Kim

OVERVIEW:

You may have met Kimberley Isaac Moyes through his role in the classic dance duo The Presets. Aside from holding it down producing and playing some of the most electrifying modern dance music in recent years with his brother in arms Julian Hamilton, Kim has all the while been quietly toiling away on an array of wondrous solo experiments that have slowly seen release in limited and eclectic fashion.

Selected Jerks 2001-2009 encapsulates the gamut of musical and personal evolution that Kim has run, from the wide-eyed boy fresh from music school in 2001, through the thrilling trajectory his day job in The Presets has taken since beginning in 2003, on to his current role, as a kind of modern day rave patron. Produced in the same said time period, Selected Jerks acts as a musical clearing of the slate, a collection of nine years of artistic exploration bundled up and set loose, paving the way for future expeditions.
