More atonal compositions from the man, the myth known as Chris Cornell.. I mean Anton Newcombe. It's an oldie is this one my brothers, the tracks on side B are from 1991/2 the tracks on side A are taken from the L.A. sessions in 2001. A beguiling mix of old Massacre and.. Erm, slightly less old Massacre. The opening track is a lovelorn ode to love and regret and the rest of this concise album follows suit. It sounds like a British pysch band from the 60s one minute then flexes its experimental head fuck muscles the next. It also reminds me of the Smiths rather a lot, never moreso than on the third track on side B called "That Quiet Song". It totally reminds me of The Smiths but without loads of complicated guitar work. its good that these guys can reach a bigger audience, after Anton's award-winning performance in that movie he starred in. The Silence Of The Lambs was one of the best films of the 90s, and his performance as Dr Hannibal Lecter was chilling yet comedic. This collection of songs is a sturdy meal that you will find edifying and intriguing, 100% awesome.. 6/10 etc....
