Ludvig Elblaus - Trials

For some reason I was off on Wikipedia checking out Ludwig the cartoon after whacking this on. I guess it's the guys name..... I never knew Ludvig was a British made cartoon. Hey you live and learn! Anyway this Ludvig isn't a cartoon (about a magical egg shaped gem who lives in a forest), he's a guy who makes electronic music. And he's been making electronic music since the mid 90's as one half of Frank & Bill (had stuff out on Skam, Merck etc) and as himself he's had releases out on New Speak, Seed etc. I've not heard his solo stuff before but it sounds like pretty decent melodic electronica. Very much in the vein of Neo Ouija, Toytronic etc. Nice crunchy beats, melodic synthlines and plenty of squelches and bloopy bits. Well old school! Apparently you won't find these for sale anywhere else except the labels website and here. Muchos exciting!
