Chrome Hoof's legendary live shows, and freak off recordings have pushed this underground band into cult territory. Rapturous write up's from Play louder, NME x 2, Metro's ones to watch etc. are a testament to this. If you have seen the band- then you already know: the Prog-Freak outs, the brutal Disco-Grind, town criers, up to 12 writhing sparkle capes on stage, a twelve foot anorexic ram, with glowing eyes- ready to burn you up on the dance floor, stunt men eject themselves from the stage, or simply sweep the band up. The smoldering sets which left a hole in the ground for weeks when twice headlining the Tapestry festival. Touring with Sunn 0))) in the USA to unsuspecting audiences, and supporting Add N to X's last ever show also helped to bring renown to this act. Here we offer three very different sonic biscuits for your pleasure- kicking off with 'Krunching Down', the tension builds throughout and finally fizzes over when the vocal kicks it up several gears... Then 'Year Ram' appears to be some kind of calm after a storm..... Side 2 = 'Mad Air Punch' - named after the celebratory arm action, which can be strangely pleasurable when executed with variations, while mouthing 'YESSS!' - a sonic equivalent perhaps, or a story board to the bands journey thus far? Accept the chalice of 'Zade, and make your own decision Pissy balls! Guff heads!
