Lykke Li Get's Some on this the taster single from her much anticipated second album released later this year. Assisted again by Bjorn Yttling (of Peter, Bjorn & John) Li's 80's pop sound is a bold as ever. 'Get Some' lays down a lively Adam and the Ants' 'army of drums' style back-beat that provides a militant rhythm to hang a good pop song on. It's pretty much a glam stomper in every respect and works nicely. Ballads are also taken care of with 'Paris Blue' providing the Serge Gainsbourg-esque angle further reinforcing Li's songwriting credentials and kudos. It's also a bold outing which is dealt with very tastefully, you can almost feel the smoke ambiance in the room.
