The Dead Weather - Blue Blood Blues

God I hate this fucking band. It sounds like The White Stripes trying to be funky, like Beck or summat, but this horrid single just comes across like some bad squalling, stuttering compressed Led Zep-style dirge. I don't usually even like supergroups, especially if they've got Jack White incorporated into their ranks. I kinda like him, however - what he stands for & even bits of Th' Stripes output over the years have impressed me, but this sucks, if in a totally different way to how The (equally abysmal) Raconteurs sucked. Sorry but the Dead Weather are just dead rubbish to these ears....
