Shit off!! You had better pass me that bong, because we are on a one way trip to the center of the sun. This sweet fucking cut is a space rock, progressive opus that intends to take you on a trip into a rock realm where the Lords Of Falconry are sitting on thrones fashoined from bones of prehistoric beasts. This album reminds me of Hawkwind in a strange way. It must be somthing to do with the relentless feel and the swathed in space echo vocals. The musicianship is second to none on this album, it has many a blazing lead guitar riff and enough druggy imagery to make Dennis Hopper (RIP) want to get stocked up on life pipes and Cheerios. Its actually not too bleak sounding either, as some stuff of this ilk can be, for every crushing riff there is a interesting seqeunce waiting round the corner that throws light over the proceedings. I reckon you could do a lot worse then welcome these space rockers into your earthling homes...

Lords of Falconry are a rock group with a spectacular psychedelic edge. Songs blast green, inferno-like hardrock, funneling clouds and stripping away sludge, turningit into the waltz-like sound of mastodons stomping across the tundra. Classic heavy psych is alive in tracks that interweavesoft voices and loud guitars that continuously pummeland enchant at every turn like a seven-headed cobra.C.S. Lewis had better watch his step!If psychedelia is quixotically naïve, then Lords of Falconryis its 21st-century doppelganger or spectral doublewise to the ways of the fallen world. In an era of organizedplay dates and close parental supervision, there are alreadyenough people ready to cooperate. Lords of Falconry offerswhat is missing real rock music.Formed in a quest to find the lost note, Lords of Falconry examines the intersection of a mystical crossroads between the fourth dimension and their own 3-D universe. Since both members are a bit insolent and rather unrealistic about much of reality, the fact that Lords of Falconry even existsis remarkable in and of itself. This is wild wild rock action, like the that first Zodiac Mindwarp EP, like the first Hellacopters LP, you want to hear a rock and roll record that blasts out of the speakers like an amphetamine charged rhino looking for action.... this makes Tame Impala sound like the Communards!
