'Themes From The Motion Picture "Man With The Green Gloves On" ' begins with some oriental type bells and then goes off into some weird and wonderful ritual mode. Competent stuff but this single, for me is all about the flipside, which is a reasonably stark contrast... Now this a treat for the old lug holes. The foundation is like a classic Duane Eddie / B52's style surf riff with lashing of psyche guitar and muppet type vocals. This is a total groover that recalls some of the Asian 60's pop obscurities that come through the Sublime Frequencies label. This is actually called 'Theme From The Science Fiction Television Show "Ban Be Cua Anh Ay" ' Whether that is a real show or not I have no idea and frankly cant be bothered finding out as I'm too distracted by these here thoroughly welcome sounds. Ltd edition of 500 copies released to coincide with their European tour. A huge amount of fun to be had wiggling away to this baby. Comes with a download code to boot. Get on the case quick smart!!!
