I was rifling through my record collection trying to trim it down (got far too many records) and I was amazed that I had 7 Eleh album's. I had no idea. I reckon they're breeding... Anyway Repose (Circle Two: Coastal Rotation For Dune Loop) is their 14th (I think) album and it's certainly different to their early releases which were largely just tonal based. This has the tonal element but has more going on as well. For a start it sounds like there's a massive windstorm in the office right now and every so often there will be a strange electronic noise or metronomic tone just appearing in the haze. And then the haze disappears and you're left with this tone and all is calm again. It's a really intense piece of music which demands to be listened to. Definitely for the more adventurous folks out there but I think this is gonna be my number 8 which I was hoping wouldn't happen! Side 2 is etched and it's hand numbered of 500. Minty...
