Sad Day For Puppets - Pale Silver & Shiny Gold

Pale Silver & Shiny Gold by Sad Day For Puppets

Second album from the acclaimed Swedish indie-rockers and Lauren Laverne favourites.

Sad Day For Puppets’ 2009 debut single ‘MarbleGods’ was a BBC 6 Music record of the week.

The ‘patron saint’ of the album is Oliver Ackermann of A Place To Bury Strangers. The two bands have toured together a lot, something that is evident in Sad Day For Puppets’ heavier sound. For fans of Dinosaur Jr, Throwing Muses, The Primitives, Pixies and lots of other things on 4AD.

“One of my favourite bands” - Lauren Laverne.
