Olof Arnalds is an Icelandic singer/songwriter who is a classically trained violinist and vocalist. She specialises in heartfelt ballads and upbeat folk style songs. This sweet new cut is full to the brim with melodies, plucked chickens.. I mean acoustic guitars and haunting violin. It has a certain quality that stays with you long after listening. It made a man very happy.. I don't know which one but I think it did. I was coaxed into a crazy car once, by a man with sausage-like fingers. In fact they were sausages, and upon closer inspection his palms were beefburgers. What happened next cant be printed so Ill leave it to your imaginations.. Let's just say neither of us went home that fateful night with empty stomachs. The flip side is a song sung in Japanese and stays in the same folk tinged, woolly jumper wearing ball park. A pretty strong release really...
Hailing from Reykjavik, One Little Indian’s newsigning Ólöf Arnalds releases ‘Innundir Skinni’, thenew album from which lead track ‘Crazy Car’ istaken.
Sounding every bit as striking as she is beautiful,Ólöf already has a strong Stateside buzz followingNYC shows with Bjork and Dirty Projectors, BlondeRedhead and John Vanderslice.
