Biffy Clyro - God and Satan

Biffy Clyro's new single 'God & Satan' will be released on 23rd August. The single will be backed by three new B-sides 'Hawkwind', '11 Bodies' and '51 Trumpets' across the three physical formats. Biffy Clyro are celebrating their inclusion on the Mercury Music Prize shortlist. The Ayrshire trio were nominated alongside acts including The XX, Mumford and Sons, Foals and Paul Weller; the winner will be announced on September 7th.
The nomination culminates an incredible twelve months for the band with Platinum plus sales of their fifth album Only
Revolutions, and a series of rapturously-received UK tours and festival appearances. ‘God & Satan’ sees the band stripped down to basics with lyrics examining the possibilities of what awaits after life. The single’s release coincides with the band’s main stage appearances at the Reading (August 27th) and Leeds (August 29th) and follows their July 11th set at T in the Park as well as their closing night headline show at the iTunes Festival on July 31st. Biffy Clyro follow their summer festival dates with their biggest ever headline tour which includes three Scottish arena dates and culminates with a prestigious Wembley Arena show.
