Holy Ghost - Static On the Wire EP

Alex and Nick, the brains behind Holy Ghost!, are now ready to release their debut EP, ‘Static On The Wire’. It’s inspired by the best electronic dance music New York and beyond has to offer, from disco to hip hop to electro with dashes of soul thrown in, it’s hook-laden, disco-pop gold. Opener ‘Static On The Wire’ is a tour de force, backed with an inspired guitar solo from friend and labelmate Juan MacLean. ‘Say My Name’ takes cooler synth sounds whilst ‘I Will Come Back’ first came to light last year when released accompanied by a New Order-inspired video with the one and only Arthur Baker. ‘I Know I Hear’ sounds like it came straight from Studio 54 or the Paradise Garage - it’s that good. ‘Static On The Wire’ follows Holy Ghost! building a reputation as one of the best remixers out there, with reworkings for MGMT, LCD Soundsystem, Moby, Phoenix and more. They first emerged in 2007 with their debut single ‘Hold On’ a track that first illustrated their love of disco and clean synths.
