Originally a limited edition release on the now defunct EMI dance label New Religion, both the original and Carl Craig remixes of Kirk Degiorgio's ‘Nairobi’ have long been in demand after many years out of print. Almost 10 years after it's creation, ‘Nairobi’ is still a mainstay on the dancefloors, kept alive by those DJs who bagged a copy first time around. Testament to it's longevity is it's inclusion of Carl Craig's remix on the latest DJ Hell mix CD for Get Physical, introducing it to an even wider audience than it's initial techno purist fan-base. Logical then for Kirk Degiorgio's A.R.T. label to re-acquire the rights for remastered re-release.
