...Get yer quiffs and beetle crushers on!!! This sounds well Bill Hayley. Its powered along by a boogie woogie piano motif and throaty vocals. It's quite a stomper actually. Its pretty direct and makes you want to race souped-up cars at Thunder Road with a total honey in the seat next to you and the wind rushing through your quiff while you smoke endless fags and bemoan the fact that your folks don't "get you". All in all not bad..just put your leather Jacket collar up and call yerself "Zucco" and you are half way there.
The Jim Jones Revue release ‘High Horse’, the first single from their new album ‘Burning Your House Down’.
Notorious for their maniacal high-energy shows, stomping rhythms and frantic fretwork, The Jim Jones Revue plan to take the planet by storm and leave a global trail of sweaty bodies and scorched earth in their wake.
The video for ‘High Horse’, shot in London by hotly tipped director Geraldine Geraghty, was inspired by the film ‘The Red Shoes’, but with a savage rock n’ roll twist. This is Geraghty’s second time working with The Jim Jones Revue, having previously shot the video for ‘Elemental’.
Available on limited edition 7” in retro disco sleeve with exclusive non-LP B-side ‘Bag O’ Demons’ (500 copies)
