Klaxons - Echoes

Echoes by Klaxons

3...according to our on Thu 12 Aug, 2010.

That whole Klaxons thing of a few years back completely passed me by, barring the obligatory scoffing at the term 'New Rave' and that. Oh yeah and I saw they totally fuck up 'Umbrella' with Rihanna at the Brit Awards. On the strength of this one I don't really feel like I've missed out a huge amount but it's easy to imagine it being well successful.. It's got 'Built For Radio 1' stamped all over it. It kind of reminds me of that last M83 album but all rocked up now that I think about it.. I'm warming to it a little bit on second listen actually, it's not my thing but if it did happen to come on Fern 'Fucking' Cotton while I was around I imagine it'd probably be quite a relief in comparison to whatever else'd be on there.

The first single to be taken from Klaxons second album ‘Surfing The Void’, ‘Echoes’ is an instantly dramatic and hugely expansive track. A masterclass in exactly the kind of innovative, futuristic, heavy but spectacularly catchy tune we know you’ve all been hoping for. Available as a 2 track Cd single with new B side and as a limited edition Multi coloured spotted effect 7" again with a new and Different to CD side.
