Violet Violet - The Ebony And Ivory

Violet Violet unleash their brand new and final record - 'The Ebony and Ivory EP'. After recent tours with The Nightingales and support slots with The Slits, the duo set out on their last tour dates in honour of the release, as Violet Violet head into an indefinite hiatus. With the already established 2-pronged dynamics, this record sees the pair progress into a deeper, heavier sound whilst still retaining their trademark dual vocals and lyrical bite, replete with stop start dynamics, see sawing needling riffs and a crooked bent at the edges brittleness that echoes 'Dress'-era PJ Harvey, embellished by elements of the Slits, Au Pairs and Delta 5.
