In only a year, The Heartbreaks have set pulses racing with their determinedly romantic take on British pop culture.
"I Didn't Think It would Hurt To Think Of You" is a mournful yet uplifting song that is indiepop at its finest. Featuring the bands trademark jangly guitars, beautifully wrought lyricism and singer Matthew's addictive croon, it has multiple killer hooks and a chorus that is so irresistible you can't, and don't want to, get it out of your head.
A-side: "I Didn't Think It Would Hurt To Think Of You"
B-side: "Your Affection Is Wasted On Me"

Another classic song from an amazing band. Catch them live too, i saw them at the Bull & Gate in London recently, where Steve Lamacq introduced them as the future of rock n roll. Can't wait for the the album!
