Daniel Savio - Nekropolis

Nekropolis by Daniel Savio

The end is coming. We all know it. Could be the end of the world, or just the end of that bag of chips you’re eating, but rest assured, it is coming. And to harken its arrival is Daniel Savio, and his Armageddon-themed opus ‘Nekropolis’. A point of personal pride in the Savio catalogue of production (and among his earliest) is the fact that he contributed material to the making of the second Britney Spears record, which in its own way has surely helped contribute to the decay of society. The nine tracks of ‘Nekropolis’ are just as menacing as the idea of having to listen to that whole BS (now there’s an interesting abbreviational coincidence) record a hundred times over, but equally they thrill in a way as yet unheard in the Skweeediverse. ‘Nekropolis’ is Daniel Savio’s second album, and a continuation of the blast that erupted from ‘Dirty Bomb’, his Flogsta Danshall LP of 2009. Steel yourself for some high-performance hip hop-meets-electro-meets-dubstep from the man who first coined the term Skwee. Vinyl-only release includes free CDR of the complete album.
