This release has got some serious credentials. Recorded and produced by Wymond Miles of the Fresh and Only's, mastered by Paul Oldham (that's Will's bro yo!) and featuring covers of Tim Cohen's 'Rock of Gibraltar' and 'baby Mine' from the animated Disney tale Dumbo. All performed by San Francisco based singer/songwriters Hiedi and Grace, known as The Sandwitches. Four heartwarming ballads pressed on to one side of virgin wax vinyl all drenched in ghostly reverb and sprinkled with outstanding, if a little mongy, vocal performances. Everything here is subtle, laid back and blissed out with the emphasis on atmosphere over performance. Occasional guitars twinkle here and there and the odd instrument finds it's way into the mix but this is essentially a vocal record with some tasteful atmospheric production added for good measure. Really nice stuff.
