More Four Tet 12" fun!! Yeah!! You'll be pleased to hear that this is a completely fresh Hebden cut and I'd be lying if I didn't say it was mint. Crispy inventive beats are present from the outset with various experimental mutant loops making brief but welcome guest appearances throughout. Really like the random Kalimba playing that is scattered about this tune, really odd. Kinda jazzy and freestyle but with a consistent future-house beat i've come to expect from the Tet'ster. The Mala side is pretty much beyond my classification but is totally good. Not surprised this is taken from a new Soul Jazz comp entitled 'Future Bass' as this shit is post-post-everything future party music. I like it but I don't understand it so I won't try and articulate it's meaning, I'll only end up looking like a reet tit. Rest assured, everyone in the office loves this tune. They're doing serious head nods and everything.
