Really surprised at how much I like this Darwin Deez single. It's got this slightly ragged sounding guitar, pooting drum machine, a cheap synth & a simple heartfelt vocal. I wasn't expecting such a sweet, dinky DIY sounding tune from this chap. He sounds like he's rocking out in his bedroom with the sun streaming through his window. I have to agree with Dave's previous review where he comments on similarities with The Strokes, maybe a bit of Pop Levi too? Just honest, unfussy radio pop. Wish he'd sort his terrible hair & 'tache though. he looks a RIGHT berk.
