Right, i need to get off on my lunch (i'm hungry!!) so i won't witter on at length about this one. We all know what we are dealing with here, material from Majeure's super sweet 'Timespan' LP remixed by Steve Moore (Majeure's fellow collaborator on the Zombi project), Justin K Broadrick (Jesu) and Black Strobe. All of the mixes are the fucking tits! Steve Moore doe's his thing with a dose of haunting synths and arpeggio's transforming the first few bars of 'Timespan' into a grand Carpenter-esque wig-out. Broadwick takes 'Telespan' and makes it all queasy and sickly like listening to the original but in a cave after to many shots of absinthe. Black Strobe go to town with an epic 17 minute reworking of 'The Dresden Codex' which is part trance inducing club banger, part ambient future space exploration. It's outstanding. This has got to be single of the week? Even if it isn't....it is.

Paterra of sci-fi rock luminaries Zombi), remixed by three of his friends and favorite producers. Zombi co-conspirator Steve Moore expands on the opening minutes of “Timespan” to give it an ominous John Carpenter dread. Jesu mastermind Justin K Broadrick transforms “Teleforce” into a 10-minute vertigo-inducing shoegaze epic. Renowned French producer Black Strobe closes out the album with a staggering 20-minute reinvention of “The Dresden Codex,” a white-hot house banger that scorches straight away before disintegrating into an ambient heap of sci-fi ash. This vinyl-only release is strictly limited to 500 copies.
