The Morning Benders - Excuses

The Morning Benders’ new album is a lush, big-hearted collection of songs rooted in the greatest traditions of American songwriting.

•    Taken from, and released on the same day as The Morning Benders’ new album ‘Big Echo’, limited edition 7” (500 copies) ‘Excuses’ features the exclusive B-side track ‘Oh Annie’.

•    ‘Big Echo’ incorporates symphonic pop, a Wall Of Sound production aesthetic, and sunny harmonies as told from the point of view of four kids in their early 20s from Berkeley, California.

•    The album was produced and mixed by singer, lyricist, songwriter Christopher Chu and Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor.

•    ‘Big Echo’ is the sophomore follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut ‘Talking Through Tin Cans’ (2008). The band cut their live teeth supporting the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Grizzly Bear, MGMT and The Kooks
