I'm surprised this title's not been used before especially with all the medical marijuana that's being consumed in American indie rock circles nowadays. Anyway, cheeky stoner title aside, this is a fantastic slice of what you'd expect from Best Coast; blissed out, lo-fi indie pop with surfy/spaced out overtones. It's a simple refrain-based repeato riff with a vocal hook that really nags on the ears in the best possible way. The B-sides opt for a straighter Spectrals, Vivian Girls-esque 50's/60's vocal pop vibe. Think Pocahaunted (obviously) with a stoner party jam slant on it. Totally good.
