After collaborations with Astral Social Club under the Iibiis Rouge moniker have bolstered the High Wolf reputation, this deeply atmospheric & trippy record takes in all that sun-kissed tribalism, spangled new-agism, doomy acid-fried guitar effects and noise-tinged dubby echo-chamberism into a venerable kaleidoscopic stew of post-Emeralds cerebral bliss. His production techniques aren't as muffled & wilfully lo-fi as some, leaving this record sounding rather widescreen, majestical & stimulating.
