Health - USA Boys

Now, i've got to admit i'm struggling with the ever evolving presence of the band they call Health. I liked the first outing (sorta) but i wasn't that bothered with the remix album that followed it or new album 'Get Color'. This leads us to 'Disco 2', Health's second LP of remixes by various artist including old pals Crystal Castles among others. USA Boys is the exclusive track that precedes the album with a remix of 'In Heat' by Javelin on the B-side. The A-side is another ambient gothic synth pop number that sounds a little like Fuck Buttons (in a good way) and wouldn't sound out of place on the soundtrack to the new Twightlight movie (not in a good way). Javelin's 'In Heat' mix brings a little sunshine with it's synth saturated LA funk flavor. The G-Funk is oozing from this baby...
