I don't think you get any plaudits for sounding like a third rate Dicky Ashcroft. This single is so dreary and innoffensive that I'm struggling to breathe. It doesn't really do anything extraordinary, just minces from verse to uninspired chorus. It'll sell loads because it's so safe and takes no risks. Standard fare to me,'cutting edge' for 4X4 drivers and baggy trousered ballet enthusiasts everywhere....
