iTAL tEK - Moment In Blue EP

Two remixes of 'Moment in Blue' by Ikonika and FaltyDL plus two newies from the man himself, what more could you ask for on a friday morning. The Ikonika mix kicks things off in tranquil style playing off the original with some tasty embellishments and the lightest of touches. FaltyDL is just a tasteful with the source material and really plays up the 2-step vibe with enhanced beats and some serious bass rumble. Sub as fuck. I'm totally loving this post dub-step, melody infused 2-step stuff...it's kinda peaceful but still has the power to get you on your feet, perfect for a summer of outdoor dancing fun. Ital Tek's originals are equally as appealing. 'Crush Horizon' takes it steady with hip-hop beat pacing and some warm, almost folk-tronic flourishes that really hit the spot. 'Infinity' (a remix of 'Infinite') takes the 2-step influence into the cosmos whilst keeping it right crispy on the beat side of things. Great 12".
