Feeder - Call Out

Call Out by Feeder

FEEDER return with a brand new single on 14th June (7 inch released on 21st June) 2010, their first release for two years.  ‘CALL OUT’ is a return to the band’s rock roots, an exhilarating three minutes of classic catchy melodies coupled with thrashing guitars to create the ultimate in jump-around, sing-along pop rock.

Feeder at their loud and proud best!

Fifteen years since the bands first release (which they sold at their own gigs) they are once again releasing music for themselves. With 25 hit singles under their belt, 4.5 million record sales, 6 full length-studio albums – as well as the double platinum Singles Collection from 2006 – founder members vocalist Grant Nicholas and bassist Taka Hirose decided to go back to their roots, self-releasing on their new label Big Teeth Music.

With new drummer Karl Brazil onboard, the band made a low-key start to 2010 by touring the UK under the name of Renegades. They only announced the shows to fans on their website, explaining that they would be showcasing new material which Nicholas had written throughout 2009. The tickets sold out in minutes and the band took to tiny venues the size of which they hadn’t played in years – the response was amazing.  The new tracks were much heavier than the band’s last few albums; far more guitars!   A free EP given away at the shows teased as to the harder direction the band were taking, while still displaying their ability to write classic songs.
