Detroit Social Club - Existence

Existence by Detroit Social Club

Detroit Social Club, who signed to Fiction Records (home to Elbow, Kate Nash and Ian Brown) a little over eighteen months ago, have spent some serious time working on their first release. ‘Existence’ was co-produced by DSC’s front man/songwriter David Burn and Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, UNKLE). Last year Detroit Social Club opened for Oasis at their last ever show and also supported Primal Scream, as well as playing three of their own tours. They will head out on the road to shine once again, fresh from their recent dates that included a blistering performance at an NME Awards Show to rave reviews. The band will headline the inaugural New To Q Tour. Detroit Social Club, who were featured as a New To Q band themselves earlier this year, will lead the tour through Scotland, The North, The Midlands and finishing in London. A maelstrom of thundering drums and sleazy guitars capable of making you fly higher than Icarus’ NME.
