A worthy vinyl counterpart to the 2CD set. Vibrational Studies (In Echospace) is an alternative version of the albums opening track, and it is proper head gear. Super deep analogue loops fade and dissolve and re-emerge in slightly different form. The sounds fizz around and decay like their submerged in a slowly rotating washing machine. Soaked in reverb and delay as you'd expect. the B side cut 'Symbolism In Transition' also hits the spot, following a housier template but equally as smoky and dubby. It recalls the likes of Substance & Vainquier's Reverberation/ Reverberate sort of style. Both tracks are winners.

Vibrational Studies (In Echospace) is an alternate version of album opener ‘In Echospace’ and revolves around a relentless cycle of washed-out analogue loops layered around submerged field recordings and electric currents that somehow propel the track while at the same time immersing it in one of the headiest mixes Hitchell and Modell have ever recorded.

‘Symbolism In Transition’ finds Modell deploying a deep and padded configuration with a sort of late night shuffle so beloved of Move D, all squashed House vibes, sparkling melodic currents and bursts of barely there white noise – it’s a gentle, beautiful thing.

Tracklist:

A1. Vibrational Studies (In Echospace)
B1. Symbolism In Transition
