His outstanding skills and talent for heart- wrenching melodic moments, fused with his trademark sound, have helped him gain fans across the globe, and blur the boundaries between cutting-edge, underground quality and mass appreciation. His numerous singles and remixes (most recently his Franz Ferdinand remix was nominated for a Grammy), spearheaded by two exceptional and award-winning albums, ‘The Last Resort’ and ‘The Trentemøller Chronicles’, and recently his first mix CD‚ ‘Harbour Boat Trips Copenhagen’, gained him all manner of praise, from press accolades to a non-stop sell-out world tour.

•    The follow up to ‘The Last Resort’ offers as much depth and soul as its predecessor, yet sounds ultimately fresh and different. Above all, the ten tracks show an artist that’s willing to take risks, find inspiration in new places and move beyond the sound of his previous album. Compared to the intimate electronic mood pieces of ‘The Last Resort’, the ten tracks on the new album indeed have a glorious indie rock sound, with a lot of dynamics, distorted driving twang-guitars and haunting synths alongside four beautiful melodic vocal songs, featuring Marie Fisker, Josephine Philip (Darkness Falls), Fyfe Dangerfield (Guillemots), Solveig Sandnes and a choir by Nana Øland Fabricius (Oh Land), plus guest musicians Davide Rossi (Coldplay, Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, The Verve, Moby), Mikael Simpson, Dorit Chrystler (Oh Land, The The), Jakob Hoyer (The Raveonettes) and Sune Martin.
