I did enjoy this on first listen and can confirm I'm certainly getting more into it second time round. It's pretty messed up and all over the place throwing all kinds of stuff into the mix. I was glad to see that band member Steve Potatos plays a Major Morgan as well as guitar, and other chaps on cornet, toy yellow hooter, trumpet and shaky lettuce. No doubt a wacky bunch making some cool experimental, quirky electronic music with a few computer game pop flourishes and early synth music squiggles. Most worthy of investigation.
The debut album by Bournemouth's scuzz-punk-jazz-fit, 'Skitanja' will be upon us like a global economic catastrophe unparalleled anywhere in history. Oh, that's already happened? Well, this lot will lift your spirits if not your purse. Actually, they might lift that as well.
