Don't know why but I kinda like this Ten Bears single. It's terribly commercial and catchy, the fuzzy bassline reminds me of early Ash and the chorus is irrepresibly anthemic. There's a kinda late 90s vibe to it but also that kind of honest Wombats-style timelessness. It avoids the trappings of the omnipresent Britpop revival, is potential stadium fodder without resorting to any crass terrace-appeasing mentality & doesn't outstay its welcome either - I.E. you'll wanna play it again. And again. In this current climate of uber-technically savvy tedium & Shoreditch muppetery, it's a breath of fresh air to hear this kind of approachable RadioIndie (tm).
