Not heard these before but apparently they've toured with labelmate Edie Sedgewick who I've very much enjoyed seeing in the past. So yeah, this job's pretty Riot Grrrl. Or maybe post-Riot Grrrl as Sleater-Kinney are probably the most obvious reference point I can think of, mainly because Basla Andolsun (I see what she's done there) has a vocal delivery that's super Corin Tucker-y. Having said that, there's a really tangible country influence on these tracks which sets them well apart from that scene and pretty much anyone else on Dischord, making me think a little of the likes of fIREHOSE at times. Not quite what I was expecting, but I think I quite like it.
