Glitchy glitchy, everyone's glitchy. I didn't mind this record. It has a bittersweet feel to it, and a slow pulsing beat. You could say it sounds like a slowed down Field, or a less upbeat Animal Collective. It creeps up on you like a mischievous step child, and slowly grabs your attention. Its strangely compelling, and its actually quite dancable. It has a sweet sleeve and it has a really great sound. Ace-io!!!

OVERVIEW:
Mesmerising electronic artist Gold Panda is set to capitalise on an exciting and critically-hailed 2009 that saw him named as one of BBCs Sound of 2010 nominees, with the release of new material and shows in the UK, Europe, USA and Japan.
“You” is released on 7” vinyl on his own NOTOWN label on May 10th backed with another new composition, “Before We Talked”. Also available digitally will be the first ever remixes of Gold Panda by Glasgow newcomer Dam Mantle, Bristol’s electronica legend Minotaur Shock and London;s Seams.
Having just toured Japan for the first time, Gold Panda returned to the UK to embark on a week of headline shows and is now on tour across Europe with Caribou. UK festival shows follow throughout May before he ventures to the USA to tour with HEALTH.
Gold Panda remixed the likes of Little Boots, Telepathe, Bloc Party, Simian Mobile Disco, Health and The Field, before releasing three sold out EPs of his own material to huge critical acclaim from the likes of Pitchfork, Dazed and Confused, The Guardian, NME and beyond.
