Inch Time - A Handful Of Dub

Cheeky little orange tape release (a limited version of dubbed-up mixes of the recent Aurora 12") from Static Caravan that comes with a pin badge, fridge magnet and limited print. It's certainly the kind of tasteful pack I've come to expect from S.C. but what of the Inch Time music contained within? Well, as the title suggests, this is Inch time monkeying about within the parameters of dub with a few friends but it sounds more like chilled electro or ambient electro stuff to me. Remix contributions from Shoeb Ahmed, Radovan Scasascia, Lawrence English and Paul Gough (aka Pimmon) are remarkably subtle and ensure you stay way, way into the chill zone throughout the duration. I enjoy Panczak's tasteful melodic style so even in 'dub' mode I find his compositions satisfying... I assume you all feel the same? Good. Buy this, limited to 100.
