I was drawn to the simple line drawing on nice textured black card of this new Dirac release on Valeot. If nothing else it's supremely tasteful. It also reminds me a wee but of Vib Ribbon if anyone remembers that. It's been on for a good 20 minutes has this album and it's starting to sink in. Drones, loops, tones and feedback are building up to what seems like it's gonna go somewhere powerful. If only I had time to listen to the end right now which I don't. It's a fucking travesty I say. Its mellower moments remind me a wee bit of some of the Holver Czukay & David Sylvian collabs. This does go a bit noisier though...it's really quite lovely and intense and you will get sucked in if you're into experimental electronis and atmospheric drone music. A great start to my reviews.
