The cover to this single depicts a woman walking towards the sea but instead footprints in the sand there are fish. A mans hand is in the foreground. Is he putting the fish down are picking them up? Hmmmmm. The music contained within is instantly forgettable chant-a-long landfill indie. Music for people who don't like music. Joshua Homme plays extra guitar - he needn't have bothered for all the good its done. Again this comes on two different 7"'s probably with different B sides or something. Sounds an awful lot like Snow Patrol.

OVERVIEW: Hot on the heels of their recent NME Award, Biffy Clyro release the new single ‘Bubbles’ on 3rd May on 14th Floor Records. Released to coincide with their imminent UK tour, the single is taken from their current album ‘Only Revolutions’ that debuted in the Top 10 and has since sold 250,000 copies in the UK alone.
A fiery concoction of aggressive melodies, compelling hooks and a blistering closing jam, ‘Bubbles’ features a special guest in the shape of Josh Homme who contributes additional guitar to the track. Their friendship was cemented when Biffy Clyro toured Europe and North America as support to Homme’s Queens of the Stone Age.
“Someone like Josh, it’s like he’s a musical lifer,” says vocalist/guitarist Simon Neil. “We are as well, and I think when you meet people you can see in their eyes whether they really mean it or not. It’s kind of weird being friends with someone who’s a hero like Josh, but I see in him what I see in myself and he sees in us what he saw in himself, that kind of hunger and willingness and doing it for the right reasons. It’s really easy to connect with people because of that”.
Biffy Clyro’s prior UK tour included two rapturously received homecoming shows at Glasgow’s Barrowlands and concluded at London’s Brixton Academy. Their upcoming tour concludes with another sizeable London date at Hammersmith Apollo
