Nils Rostad - Self-Portait as a Budeie

Nils Rostad I'm not too familiar with but he's done some work with the prolific Bjerga/ Iversen folks and here is a 6 track album which comes in a nice hand made cardboard foldy sleeve thing limited to 50 copies. From what I've heard so far this really varies in styles. There's elements of Derek Bailey in his guitar playing, you get some mantra ish spooky vocals ala Richard Youngs popping up here and there, parts of it remind me of Faust at times. It's pretty out there... there's some definite nods to some of the weirder krautrock acts here. Deffo an interesting album!!
