ECSRs latest single is a haunting ode to the trials and tribulations of the common builder, they are misunderstood creatures after all. From their wolf whistling to there innate ability to hurl "witty" insults at people with long hair ("Hey up John Lennon!!). It's aboot time that these guys got the break they deserve. ECSR also seem to agree and have penned a classic that will save the skins of builders everywhere. Its ace garage rock with surf style overtones and has more hooks than my man Mike Tyson. A worthy release and I was glad to hear it....

The first Mexican Summer release from these Aussie Garage-punk sensations. ECSR have managed to captivate both the indie/Pitchfork crowd and the garage/Terminal Boredom crowd with incredible songs, startling energy and timeless, distinctive songwriting. Their spiky sound and Brendan Suppression’s matter-of-fact vocals were like a fresh, cool breeze that blew away the stagnation and cobwebs of what punk had become at the end of U.S. tyranny. Massive blog buzz, a highly-ancipated spring tour and massive pre-order numbers make this a record not to miss.
