I've actually had to swap to avoid getting even more folk music. This is the latest installment in the Yellow 6 canon and this is now thee 10th(!) album. The first track is absolutely beautiful. Haunting guitar explorations building up nicely with nicely effected guitars adding to the intoxicating brew. The rest of the album follows a similar path. Simply plucked electric guitar lines meshed together (simple lines intertwining as someone once said) but to fantastic effect. Perfect late night music. Hard to review in the middle of a bustling office but later on when the lights go down low I'm going to give this a bloody good listening to. If you have liked Yellow 6 previously you'll love this. If you like stuff like Robin Guthrie, Vini Reilly, La Bradford, Rothko you are hopefully going to love it too.
