Hmm.. I'm sure I did the last triple CD Mobeer thing. I don't particularly mind or owt 'cos they're always good but y'know, it's hard doing a threefer in a onesers amount of time. Quickly then - David Newlyn peddles a sweet mix of delicate guitar and piano playing, gentle ambience and found sounds to create a gorgeously warm world of park strolls and merry children, trees casting strong shadows as the light just begins to fade. The feel starts to slowly break apart as things continue, naturally continuing my train of visualisation into the mysteries of the evening. The Archivist's got a pretty cool name and specializes in pretty waves of droney bits but the track where he branches out into clicky ambient electronica is very nicely done too.. And similar to Insecto's specialty on disc 3 - that glitchy, low-key Mobeer house style that often makes me think of Pub, fittingly. Quality across the board.tracks :
